Student Success

Student Success UNC Charlotte Boot Camps

To help you along the intensive boot camp journey, students have a Student Success Manager on site to provide support with pre-launch preparation, instructor management, on-boarding, and classroom coordination. In addition, students have access to a free tutoring network and communication channels to reach out to instructors and TAs when needed.

Feedback »

Your feedback is crucial as we constantly work to make the student experience the best it can be. That is why we have instated several feedback loops to hear from students throughout the program. Surveys are administered to capture student goals, backgrounds, program feedback, and demographics as well as weekly feedback forms that help us make changes in real-time.

Communication »

We use #Slack to keep in touch regularly because when you’re navigating a challenging boot camp, communication is more important than ever. Slack is a communication tool that allows students to talk with their instructors, each other, and their Student Success Manager.

Quality Assurance »

We use advanced technologies to make sure that our instructors are providing students with an optimal learning experience. Classes are recorded and audited for quality control and data analysis. This gives our academic team the ability to give real-time oversight of the curriculum delivery as well as constructive feedback to our stellar team of instructors.

We Empower YOU »

The goal of our Career Services team is to empower our students with the skills and confidence they need to make their dreams a reality. We can’t do the heavy lifting for you, but we can guide you along the way and motivate you to do what it takes to succeed. Through determination and a “can-do” attitude, our alumni go on to do great things.

Students have a Career Services Director to coordinate career curriculum delivery and hiring events, build an employer network, and provide career coaching. You’ll benefit from a comprehensive list of support services including resume and social media profile assistance, portfolio reviews, technical interview training, job matching, and more.

Additional Facts:

  • Career support runs over the 90 days after graduation.
  • The Career Curriculum consists of 15-20 classes (including instructor engagements).
  • Curriculum classes are delivered by a mix of Career Directors, Instructors, TAs, and industry experts from companies in our network.
  • Each class corresponds to a required item that you will need to apply for a job.
